Today, iute Moldova celebrates 17 years of operation in the non-bank financial market of the Republic of Moldova, ranking among the top three institutions in the sector. Over the years, the company has diversified its offerings—from 100% online consumer loans to installment payments available at over 1,000 retail partners nationwide, insurance brokerage, and integrated services for customers and partners.

A major step in digitalization was the launch of the Myiute mobile app, through which users can access loans, manage payments, sign contracts online, access insurance, view their financial history, and even make installment payments by scanning a QR code directly in partner stores. With over 400,000 downloads and more than 100,000 monthly active users, Myiute has become the central hub for customer interaction. Today, over 90% of loan contracts are signed digitally, and over 60% of loans for the purchase of goods or services are approved instantly.
One of the services recently developed by iute Moldova that is gaining increasing strategic importance is insurance brokerage. The company is investing significantly in diversifying its product offerings, and this initiative is considered strategic, receiving support at the group level as well.
iute Moldova is one of the few lending institutions that uses advanced statistical models to anticipate customer behavior and offer them personalized products. Another first in microfinance in the Republic of Moldova is the implementation of interest rate reduction scales based on the repayment term and loan amount. Additionally, iute Moldova utilizes a high-performance statistical module – the PD Model (Probability of Default) – which allows for the classification of clients based on risk level, provides accurate forecasts regarding their repayment capacity, and serves as the foundation for the personalized lending process.
At iute Moldova, artificial intelligence is already integrated into the financial assessment of customers and, at the same time, is being applied to the analysis of call center conversations, enabling real-time evaluation of interaction quality to improve communication with customers.
“The company’s goal is to further automate processes, aiming for an automatic approval rate of at least 30% for consumer loans, without manual intervention. At the same time, the company is working to expand the Myiute app into a universal financial platform, through which customers can manage all their financial matters in a single digital space: loans, installment payments, insurance, special offers, and, in the future, even banking services”, notes Sergiu Sobuleac.
