iute Moldova had the honor of participating, as a strategic partner and long-standing supporter of Junior Achievement Moldova’s initiatives in the field of entrepreneurial education, in the anniversary event marking the organization’s 30 years of activity. The event was held under the theme “Ensuring Community Sustainability Through the Development of Social Entrepreneurship.”
“The strategic partnership with JA Moldova is a natural extension of iute Moldova’s commitment to financial education. This is not our first collaboration, and we have consistently supported initiatives that build real economic skills among young people. We firmly believe that only by investing in education can we build a sustainable and prosperous community. We are honored to stand alongside JA Moldova in all its efforts dedicated to the development of economic and entrepreneurial education,” said Sergiu Sobuleac, CEO of iute Moldova and Member of the Junior Achievement Moldova Board.
Silvia Tetelea, Commercial Director at iute Moldova, participated in one of the panels at the anniversary event, dedicated to the theme “Junior Achievement’s Success Story in the Context of Partnership with the Business Community.” “We support young people because any project dedicated to them is, in fact, a win-win partnership. It is how we ensure the continuity and future of business by attracting the most promising talents from the new generation. We firmly believe that a rising star discovered early on can become a valuable professional”, Silvia Tetelea stated during her remarks.
Silvia Tetelea, Commercial Director of iute Moldova, emphasized why the company places particular importance on financial and entrepreneurial education among young people: “We see enormous potential in young people—valuable ideas that, without the right support, risk remaining mere intentions. That is why we believe it is our responsibility, as professionals, to offer them support, trust, and access to the necessary resources. We invest with the future in mind; we share best practices, real-life experiences, and even failures—because every failure is, in fact, a lesson that can become the foundation of a success story.”
Among the initiatives launched by iute Moldova to encourage young people to advance in the field of entrepreneurship, the most recent is the launch of the #YouthEconomy project. The event, organized by iute Moldova in partnership with ASEM and Junior Achievement Moldova, brought together 25 second-year students majoring in Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and Banking from ASEM’s National College of Commerce. The program’s goal was to provide young people with essential knowledge about financial management, business development, and adapting to current economic challenges.
Junior Achievement Moldova celebrated 30 years of entrepreneurship education alongside national and international leaders, teachers, students, and partners. The anniversary event held at the Palace of the Republic in Chișinău brought together high-ranking officials, representatives of the business community, and civil society to celebrate JA Moldova’s impact: over 300,000 students across the country have been trained to think entrepreneurially and act with initiative.
