We kicked off #GlobalMoneyWeek2026 with an in-person meeting with over 70 students from the ASEM National College of Commerce—young people passionate about entrepreneurship, curious, engaged, and full of energy, who turned the seminar into a genuine dialogue.
The event was dedicated to financial education and the development of entrepreneurial thinking, offering participants access to real-world experiences in the world of finance. Through the #YouthEconomy program, we aim to bring practical and relevant perspectives closer to young people, helping them better understand how to build their own path.
Sergiu Sobuleac, CEO of iute Moldova, alongside Lilia Boico, President of Energbank, shared their professional experiences, lessons learned, and practical insights, turning the discussion into an open exchange of ideas guided by the participants’ questions and interests.
Such initiatives demonstrate the real impact that education can have when it is linked to authentic experiences. At Iute Moldova, social projects are part of our commitment to social responsibility, and financial education is viewed as a long-term investment in a better-prepared generation and, by extension, in a more developed economy.
