Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) – the new level of security in the Myiute app.

At iute, data security and the protection of our customers are a priority.
That’s why we’ve introduced a new two-factor authentication (2FA) feature in the Myiute app. This adds an extra layer of security every time you log in to your account.

What is 2FA and how does it protect you

Two-factor authentication (2FA) involves verifying your identity using two security factors:
1️⃣ The passcode you set in the app.
2️⃣ Confirmation from your registered mobile device.

This way, even if someone else knows your password, your account remains protected—only you can approve access from your own device.

Why we’re implementing this change

With this update, iute is aligning with local and international legal requirements regarding digital security and personal data protection (the European PSD2 Directive).
At the same time, this is part of our commitment to providing a secure, modern, and transparent digital experience, in line with industry best practices.

What you need to do

The next time you log in to the Myiute app:

  1. You will be asked to create a 6-digit passcode.
  2. If you have previously been identified in the system, you will be shown security questions (related to your ID).
    – Answer correctly and set the passcode.
    – If you are unable to do so, you can go through the electronic identification process.
  3. You will only be able to access your account from the device on which you created the passcode.

If you’re using Myiute in a web browser, you’ll need to confirm access via the push notification sent to your registered phone. Make sure notifications aren’t blocked!

If you forgot your access code or changed your phone

✅ Tap “Forgot your access code?” and we’ll redirect you to Evrotrust’s electronic identification to set a new code.

✅ If you changed your device, contact our support team to reactivate access on your new phone.

    You will be automatically redirected to electronic identification via Evrotrust, where you can confirm your identity and set your access code and biometrics.
  5. Can I use Myiute on multiple phones?
    No. For security reasons, a Myiute account can only be accessed from a single mobile device.
  6. I forgot my access code. What should I do?
    Tap “Forgot your access code?” in the app.
    You’ll be redirected to Evrotrust electronic identification, after which you’ll be able to set a new code.
  7. I changed my phone. How do I regain access to Myiute?
    Contact the iute support team to reactivate access on your new phone.
  8. Is 2FA required for all customers?
    Yes, for all iute customers.
    New customers will set up their access code immediately after signing in.
  9. What should I do if I don’t receive the push notification when logging in from a browser?
    Check the messages in the Myiute app—the verification code is available there as well.
